Tell us your story

Pennswald Jäger Klub is working to preserve traditions and build new ones. We want to capture the hunting traditions of PA, gain perspective on the reasons behind the hunt, educate on best practices, and guide the development of original traditions that we are all capable of creating.

The Question: Why do you hunt?

This could be something as simple as ‘because I enjoy it’ or ‘because it puts food on the table.’ Or you can help people actually understand why you do it - what it’s really all about. Think of your audience as someone who is just starting a hunting tradition or how about someone who has no clue why anybody would ever hunt. Perhaps you come from a long line of hunters or maybe you find something in the art of the hunt that you can’t find anywhere else. Tell us about it.
